Meet Romeo

Romeo was born prematurely and due to complications this led to neurological developmental delays and eventually a Cerebral Palsy diagnosis.

As Romeo grew, his family wanted to help him experience childhood alongside other children. However, adaptive equipment that could grow with him and support his specific needs was financially out of reach for their family of five.

A Victory Scholarship provided Romeo with a custom adaptive bike that offers him independence, physical therapy benefits, and most importantly—the opportunity to be included with his peers.

“We received the adaptive bike & Romeo has completely blown our minds with his love for this! I could cry just writing this and thinking how much we've seen the boost in his confidence! During his ride yesterday, he was going up a hill and we heard him say "I won’t give up!" I know my husband and I just melted inside and felt so much relief that he finally has some independence & success from the challenges this bike brings into his world! This adaptive bike was the game changer for us. With this scholarship, my son was given the opportunity to be included."
