Meet Eiley

When Eiley was born, her family received devastating news: she had been diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) Type 1, a condition where the body cannot produce the SMN1 protein. Without this crucial protein, nerves die and babies quickly lose all function and mobility. Doctors gave her just 14 months to live.

But at 3 months old, Eiley received a life-saving treatment that gave her family hope. Since then, she's been in therapy and continues to amaze her family daily with huge improvements.

While Eiley has made remarkable progress, she still needs assistance moving to the next activity. She’s working on transitioning from laying to sitting and sitting to standing on her own.

Through a Victory Scholarship, Eiley was able to attend an intensive at CLIMB, a pediatric focused activity based training facility to work towards these goals.

“Receiving this scholarship takes the weight of the financial toll off of us. We want to do what’s best for our daughter and you are giving us the ability to do that. Thank you!”
