As a teenager, Miley was involved in a devastating car accident that resulted in a severe spinal cord injury. Despite facing numerous physical and emotional challenges, Miley has shown incredible strength and determination.

Today, Miley is at a pivotal point in her life. She has been given the opportunity to attend a specialized summer program designed for teens living with spinal cord injuries. This program offers not only a chance to connect with peers who share similar experiences but also provides invaluable support and resources to help her navigate her journey. This is especially a crucial time for Miley because she has a goal of attending college independently next year. This program would give her an opportunity to be away from home and her family for the first time since her injury to see how she would potentially handle college on her own. However, due to the high cost of living with a spinal cord injury, Miley needed to find a way to raise the funds on her own to be able to attend this program.
