Matthew was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy right after he was born. This means he has extremely limited use of his extremities and muscle weakness. Now, as a 14 year old, he enjoys finding ways to be active despite his diagnosis. For a few years now, he has been playing soccer. We had been looking for ways to raise money for his own power soccer chair so he could continue playing. We were fundraising but had reached a point where we just needed more assistance. Luckily, we were told to apply for a scholarship from Victoria’s Victory Foundation. Matthew was so happy when he found out he was the recipient of a Victory Scholarship! It has allowed Matthew to continue to do something he loves. We are truly thankful for your generosity!
